I started this gallery with the intent of putting together some of my pics that have won contests...that was like the first two! - - ha! but then I found the daily photo community and added the gallery to it...without changing its name (I don't know why I don't feel like changing it - - maybe because the gallery name has a positive, confident feel to it, and I'm really anything but that).

hi guys. i've been a little preoccupied with a dog we've been fostering and have decided to adopt. then last friday mark and jesse were rear-ended by a fire truck. their heads knocked out the back window of mark's pickup. they both went to the ER with concussions. mark's truck was totaled and he was fired from his job (even though he had an excuse from our doctor) because he'd already missed his limit of days. they're still hurting but gradually feeling better. and i'm back now:)
in this pic i was trying to get mark's stubble:) this was last january. he has more scruff at the moment. i'd better go get my camera...
