years ago, when I was more naive than I am now, and while my husband worked at tmi (not during the accident) he told me not to believe what newspapers, etc. write...that things are - - at the very least - - often taken out of context.

well it hardly compares - - the small faux pas in the article about the southern shutters exhibit - - but I couldn't help remembering dave telling me that, when I was both misquoted (that's another story) AND they got the title of this photo wrong...

the article said the photo is of my daughter's eyes 'looking at' a tree line (it didn't mention how abstract it is and the photo wasn't pictured), and without giving the orig. title added an extra word to its aka and called it 'our scary little face.' I laughed and laughed, I texted terri about it and laughed some more. finally she said, 'all right, mom, it isn't that funny,' but I found it hilarious. I felt it sounded as if she were downright hideous. well...it struck ME as funny...
