I hate when art fairs/shows/galleries are like that. I like to take pics of the things that really appeal to me. Afterwards I've often decided I couldn't live without a piece I've photographed and gone back to buy it. I see 5 or 6 pieces in my living room right now that I RETURNED to and bought after previously taking a pic...(a couple more that I bought on the spot...but I remember taking pics of them at the time, too)

I wish some artists and directors("!") wouldn't be so uptight. I'm sure if someone really wanted to steal their work they could do it...without a pic even.
